On September 13, 2022, Minitry of Environmental Protection (MEE) published National Carbon Market FAQ, in an effort to better facilitate the construction and operation of National Carbon Emission Trading Market. The FAQ consists of 5 chapters, 18 topics and 602 specific questions involving monitoring, reporting and verification of carbon emission data, quota allocation, settlement and compliance, carbon emission data reporting system, carbon emission rights registration system, and the use of trading system, etc.
