South Korea to Strengthen the Management of Hazardous Substances in EEPs
Dec 04, 2020
To establish a preventive management system for international hazardous substances, MoE proposes to amend the enforcement decree of Act on Resource Circulation of Electrical and Electronic Equipment and Vehicles. Specified measures include expanding the regulatory scope of products containing these hazardous substances and adding hazardous substances to be restricted.

China, Japan and South Korea Set to Continue Joint Environmental Actions

On November 23 and 24, the 21st Tripartite Environment Ministers Meeting (TEMM) was held in Kitakyushu, Japan, during which environment ministers of China, Japan and South Korea exchanged the latest developments in environmental policies of each country following TEMM20 and set new priorities for the next Tripartite Joint Action Plan (TJAP 2020-2024).
