According to the September Chemical Gazette published by Australian National Industrial Chemicals Notification and Assessment Scheme (NICNAS), one substance has already been removed from the Australian Inventory of Chemical Substances (AICS).
The substance is poly(oxy-1,2-ethanediyl), .alpha.-hydro- .omega.-hydroxy-, ether with .alpha.-[[(2- hydroxyethyl)[2-[[2-[(2- hydroxyethyl)octadecylamino]ethyl](2-hydroxy-2- phenylethyl)amino]ethyl]amino]methyl]benz enemethanol (2:1). The molecular formula of the substance is (C2H4O)n(C2H4O)nC42H73N3O4 and the CAS number is 68310-21-4.
After being deleted from AICS, this substance is now considered as a new chemical substance and should comply with the requirements prescribed in the Industrial Chemicals (Notification and Assessment) Regulations 1990.
