These chemicals are potentially risky to the public health, workplace and the environment in consideration of their persistence, toxicity and bioaccumulation.The Environmental Management Burea (EMB) under DENR is in charge of aseessing and nominating priority chemicals. EMB has required the manufacurers and importers of priority chemicals to fulfill a spectrum of obligations.
