On June 3, 2020,China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) officially released the revised List of Monitored Chemicals as its Order No.52. The revision takes effect immediately after issuance, and the previous version Order No.11 of the Ministry of Chemical Industry is repealed at the same time.
China's List of Monitored Chemicals is the localized inventory of Annex on Chemicals under the Chemical Weapon Convention. To stay consistent with the Convention, which was approved to include more chemicals last November, MIIT supplemented 4 kinds of chemicals in Schedule 1 of the List and launched two rounds of consultation on it earlier this year.
