Summary

On December 9, 2021, the Government of Vietnam issued Decree No. 111/2021/ND-CP amending and supplementing Decree No. 43/2017/ND-CP on goods labeling. The Decree will take effect on February 15, 2022.

Decree No. 43/2017/ND-CP was issued on April 14, 2017 to replace the Government Decree No. 89/2006/ND-CP dated August 30, 2006. It took effect on June 1, 2017, with coverage limited to goods imported and circulated in Vietnam. However, by Decree No. 111/2021/ND-CP, the applicable scope is expanded to include goods for export.
