Summary

The European RoHS Directive is a directive concerning restrictions on the use of specific hazardous substances contained in electrical and electronic equipment in the European Union (EU). On July 1, 2011, RoHS2 (Direction 2011/65/EU) was promulgated to amend the former RoHS Directive (Directive 2002/95/EC).
