Summary

In November 2023, the Philippine Environmental Management Bureau under the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR-EMB) released drafts on updating the Philippine Inventory of Chemicals and Chemical Substances (PICCS) for year 2022 , which would expand the present number of chemicals listed in the PICCS from 22,277 to 22,373 with the addition of 96 new chemicals.
