This standard specifies the methods for the determination and migration testing of 19 phthalate esters in food contact materials and products, including dimethyl phthalate (DMP), diethyl phthalate (DEP), diallyl phthalate (DAP), diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP), dibutyl phthalate (DBP), dimethyl 2-methoxyethyl phthalate (DMEP), 2-(4-methyl-2-pentyl)-phthalate (BMPP), di(2-ethoxyethyl) phthalate (DEEP), dipropyl phthalate (DPP), dihexyl phthalate (DHXP), butylbenzyl phthalate (BBP), di(2-butoxyethyl) phthalate (DBEP), dicyclohexyl phthalate (DCHP), di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), diphenyl phthalate (DPhP), dioctyl phthalate (DNOP), dinonyl phthalate (DNP), diisnonyl phthalate (DINP-1), and phthalic acid, di-C8–C10 branched alkyl esters (C9 enriched) (DINP-2), and diisodecyl phthalate (DIDP-1) and phthalic acid, di-C9–C11 branched alkyl esters (C10 enriched) (DIDP-2).
