Summary

On May 15, 2026, the Government of Vietnam published Decree No. 163/2026/ND-CP Elaborating the Law on Prevention and Control of Narcotic Substances. The decree strengthens licensing, reporting, facility, and safety requirements for legal activities involving narcotic substances and precursors, and also sets rules for managing illicit drug users and rehabilitation facilities.
