This draft proposal was published by the Ministry of Environmental Protection in September 2011 for public consultation which had ended on 30 Oct 2011. This standard provides essential guidance to enable fulfillment of the regular notification requirements of China New Chemical Substance Notification (China NCSN). In line with the guidance of China NCSN, the minimum requirements for regular notification include physic-chemical, toxicological and eco-toxicological test reports and a risk assessment report. It specifies the technical methods and procedures of environmental risk assessment and health risk assessment for chemical substances.
