This standard applies to the classification and labeling for oxidizing liquids. The current version is an update of its initial one published on 12 Oct 2006, based on Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals, ST/SG/AC. 10/31/Rev.2 (GHS Rev.2 released in 2007).
An oxidizing liquid is a liquid which, while in itself not necessarily combustible, may, generally by yielding oxygen, cause or contribute to, the combustion of other material.
