The current version is an update of its initial one published on 12 Oct 2006, based on Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals, ST/SG/AC. 10/31/Rev.2 (GHS Rev.2 released in 2007).

A substance or a mixture that is corrosive to metal by chemical reaction will substantially damage, or even destroy metals.
