Summary

The Industry Code of Practice (ICOP) on Chemicals Classification and Hazard Communication 2013 is promulgated under Section 37 of Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA 1994) as a supportive technical guidance to implement the CLASS Regulations 2013. (Hereinafter referred as the “CLASS ICOP”)

Generally speaking, the CLASS ICOP provides guidance on chemical classification and hazard communication, as well as a list of chemical substances that have been officially classified. CLASS ICOP adopts method and classification criteria in the 3rd revised edition of the UN GHS.
