On July 14th, 2014, Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) issued Notice No. 47, announcing that SJ/T 11364-2014 Marking for the Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products will take effect and replace the 2006 version on Jan 1st, 2015.
SJ/T 11364-2014 applies to all electrical and electronic products on China’s market and specifies their marking requirements in terms of contents of hazardous substances, environment-friendly use period and recyclability. It may also be applied to the logistics.
