Summary

The Poisonous and Deleterious Substances Control Act is aimed at exercising control measures against poisonous and deleterious substances from the perspective of health and hygiene.  It designates poisonous and deleterious substances, and requires enterprises to obtain permits so as to engage in manufacture, import and sales of such substances.

To be more specific, businesses may not engage in the sale of any poisionous/deleterious substance or the manufacture/import of such substance for sales purposes unless they are registered as distributors, manufacturers or importers of poisionous/deleterious substances. Relevant businesses should also employ personnel with specialized certificates.
