Summary

This regulation is a replacement of GB/T 5009.60-1996 Method for analysis of hygienic standard of products of polyethylene, polystyrene and polypropyrene for food packaging. 

Compared with GB/T 5009.60-1996, the main changes of this regulation are as follows:  

The structure of the former regulation is modified according to GB/T 20001.4-2001 Rules for drafting standards - Part 4: Methods of chemical analysis. 

This regulation is proposed and authorized by the ministry of Health of the People’s Republic of China. 

This regulation is drafted by Shanghai Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

This regulation was firstly published in 1985, and amended for the first time in 1996, and it is the second amendment this time.
