The Law was devised based on the Vienna Convention for the Protection of the Ozone Layer (1985) and the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer (1987) and published in 1988.
It provides relevant principles concerning restrictions on production and import/export of ozone-depleting substances, measures to control their emissions and use, etc.
