Chemical Control Orders are a series of regulations, phase-out plans or bans on certain chemicals as a result of their high risks to human health, workplace safety, the environment and ecology, following the international and regional treaties and conventions.

For the time being, chemicals subject to CCOs include cyanides, PCBs, asbestos, mercury, lead and ozone depleting chemicals.

Obligations
