JT/T617-2018 is the first integrated regulations for Road TDG in China. It uses ADR as a reference and comprises 7 parts, including:
--General Provisions;
--Classification;
--Index of Dangerous Goods Name and Transportation Requirement;
--Provisions for the Use of Transport Packagings;
--Consignment;
--Provisions concerning the Conditions of Carriage, Loading, Unloading and Handling;
--Transport Conditions and Operational Requirements.
JT/T 617.4, Provisions for the Use of Transport Packagings, provides requirements on the use of packagings, intermediate bulk containers, large packagings, portable tanks, and tanks of tank-vehicles for dangerous goods in road transportation.
This part applies to the selection and use of packagings for dangerous goods in road transportation.
