ChemCon Europe 2025 is a global platform that brings together many experts representing companies, authorities, and international organisations from over 25 countries. More than 60 speakers from authorities and industry will focus on international chemical regulations and sustainability around the world. ChemCon Europe 2025 enables compliance-driven companies to learn from experiences of others’ legislative approaches by presenting interesting business cases.

Draft Outline

ChemCon Europe 2025's program is available on our website. The draft program, including speaker names, will be updated regularly until the start of the event. Highlights include:

A workshop on enforcement;
Seminars on global approach to notification of polymers and new chemicals, and regulatory monitoring and management;
On Sustainable Tuesday, many inspirational experiences will be shared for a more sustainable, transparent, and circular value chain;
On World Wednesday, regulators and industry experts share the latest news and developments on the regulatory frameworks in the Americas and the Asia Pacific region;
On EU Thursday, authority and other stakeholders share their perspectives on regulatory developments and EU’s roadmap for a competitive Europe, incl. the chemicals industry package, REACH-revision, omnibus-approach, etc;
On Risky Friday, risk assessment approaches, as well as PFAS restrictions and their impact will be spotlighted. In addition, relevant regulatory updates in the United Kingdom, Türkiye, Switzerland and Ukraine will be outlined.

SSbD Summit

Hosted by the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, the SSbD Summit is a member state initiative promoting practical Safe and Sustainable by Design implementation for a competitive Europe. With many SSbD case-studies and roundtable discussions, covering various sectors, the SSbD Summit is the place where key drivers for a practical SSbD implementation are shared and explored.
The Summit is an integral part of the exploration of the establishment of a European Innovation Hub for SSbD. It acts as an exchange hub at European level and will provide knowledge and expertise to national/regional SSbD centres and will gather knowledge and expertise from these national/regional SSbD centres in order to stimulate practical implementation of SSbD by companies.
