The global chemical industry faces increasing regulatory pressures to help prevent and respond to chemical incidents. Therefore, it is now more important than ever to ensure effective emergency response support is in place.

The NCEC and REACH24H have an excellent understanding of global chemical regulations and what they actually mean on the ground, as written regulations can be implemented and enforced in very different ways.

Working in partnership, the two organisations will be hosting a webinar that will provide an overview of emergency response best practice and tried-and-tested options available to you. In addition, we will work through the key regulatory requirements from around the globe, with some specific updates that may affect your company, notably relating to China and Mexico.

The webinar will focus on:

  1.  The importance of an emergency response helpline.
  2.  Typical models for an emergency response service (in-house versus outsourced solutions).
  3.  EU –why poison centre numbers are insufficient as a European safety data sheet compliance system
  4. Global regulatory requirements, including a detailed overview of Chinese regulatory requirements and the importance of compliance to avoid potential import bans or site closures.
