The Hazardous Chemical Substance Act (B.E. 2535) is one of the two overarching legislations promulgated by Thailand DIW. Since its implementation from Apr 7th, 1992, a spectrum of obligations were prescribed for chemicals throughout their supply chain, including notification, registration, Thailand GHS duties, prior inform declaration, etc.
The implementation of Thailand GHS is two-step action, with GHS taking effective on Mar 13, 2013 for single substances and Mar 13, 2017 for mixtures.
