This webinar details a new regulatory framework that classifies chemicals into four distinct groups—Conditional, Requiring Special Control, Restricted, and To Be Declared—each with specific licensing, declaration, and exemption requirements based on concentration thresholds. Key updates include the mandatory declaration of hazardous chemicals within consumer products (such as paints and detergents) on the National Database and specific governance roles assigned to ministries like the MoIT  to ensure synchronous safety management throughout the chemical lifecycle.
