Korea Chemicals Control Act (previously 'Toxic Chemicals Control Act') has come into force on 1 Jan 2015, which constitutes the main regulatory frames with 'Korea REACH' for the generally-used industrial chemicals in Korea. Korea REACH is for chemical registration and evaluation, and CCA focuses on how to manage and control the safe use of hazardous chemicals in Korea. Under CCA, any person who manufactures or imports a chemical shall verify if his chemical product contains any regulated substance and submit the details to the Ministry of Environment. Also, any person who intends to set up the business handling hazardous chemicals in Korea shall get the license or permit depending on the business types. In addition, he shall prepare off-site consequence analysis report that evaluates the impact of a potential chemical accident on the surrounding environment and population, if necessary.
This webinar will show you the essentials of Korea CCA and guide you through how to comply with the requirements. In addition, you will be informed the first hand information of the potential revisons on CCA.
