EU Adds 24 CMR Substances to REACH Restriction List
Jul 03, 2023
On June 8, 2023, European Commission announced to add 24 entries of CMR substances to Annex XVII to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. The list of substances are published in Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/1132 on the Official Journal of the European Union on June 9. The amendment comes into force on December 1, 2023.

UK Rolls out Plan to Cope with Challenges under UK REACH

Julie Mayhew from UK’s Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs said in the 13th Chemical Regulatory Annual Conference (CRAC) and Asian Helsinki Chemicals Forum (HCF) that there is still a long way to go in the development of UK REACH.
