On June 29, 2024, China's State Administration of Market Regulation (SAMR) officially approved the First Amendment of RoHS standard, namely GB/T 26572- 2011 Requirements of Concentration Limits for Certain Restricted Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products. The new phthalates restriction is set to take effect from January 1, 2026.
