On Jul 23th, 2019, China's Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) published on its website the List of Toxic and Hazardous Water Pollutants (1st Batch).
The first batch contains 10 types of water pollutants.

The above mentioned water pollutants were screened out based on the Catalogue of Chemical Substances subject to Priority Control. Enterprises which emit chemicals listed in the Catalogue must obtain a pollutants emission permit and pay corresponding emission fees.
