Summary

Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 established REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) regulatons in European Uninon dating from December 18, 2006. It aims to ensure a high level of protection of human health and the environment. It shall apply without prejudice to Community workplace and environmental legislation. It started to take effect on June 1, 2007.
