Summary

Provisions on the Road Transport of Dangerous goods (RTDG) was formulated according to Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Road Transport and Regulations on the Control over Safety of Hazardous Chemicals (Decree 591).

The RTDG consists of general provisions, roadway transport permit, management of exclusive-use vehicles and facilities, transport of dangerous goods, supervision and examination, legal liability and the appendix.

At the very beginning, this roadway transport of radioactive articles is also within the jurisdiction of the RTDG. However, in order to reinforce the safe transportation of those goods, the MoT releases on 27 Oct 2010 a specific regulation-Provisions on the Road Transport of Radioactive Articles, to which you need to refer when transporting radioactive articles.
