This standard applies to the classification and labeling for chemicals which cause specific organ toxicity arising from repeated exposure. It was updated on Feb 24, 2025 to align with UN GHS Rev.8, which replaced its 2008 version.

This standard is to provide a means of classifying substances that produce specific target organ/systemic toxicity arising from a repeated exposure. All significant health effects that can impair function, both reversible and irreversible, immediate and/or delayed are included.
