Summary

This standard applies to the classification and labeling for chemicals which cause specific organ toxicity arising from repeated exposure. The current version is an update of its initial one published on 12 Oct 2006, based on Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals, ST/SG/AC. 10/31/Rev.2 (GHS Rev.2 released in 2007).

This standard is to provide a means of classifying substances that produce specific target organ/systemic toxicity arising from a repeated exposure. All significant health effects that can impair function, both reversible and irreversible, immediate and/or delayed are included.
