Summary

On May 22, 2023, Brazil's PFAS draft bill (PL No. 2726/2023) was first introduced in the Chamber of Deputies by Deputy Juninho do Pneu (UNIÃO/RJ), which "Institutes the national policy for the control of PFAS - perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances, and provides other measures". 

The draft bill was currently under review by the Committees on Environment and Sustainable Development (CMADS) .
