Taiwan's Occupational Safety and Health Act (previously Labor Safety and Health Act) was promulgated by the Ministry of Labor(MoL) on 3 July 2013 and took effect on 3 July 2014. The Article 3 and Article 6 were amended on 15 May 2019 and took effect on 15 June 2019. For Article 3, the competent authority at the central government level was changed from the "Council of Labor Affairs of the Executive Yuan" to the "Ministry of Labor". For Article 6, some minor changes were made on situations where the necessary safety and health equipment and measures are required.
