On December 24th, 2020, the Chinese Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) unveiled the official version of three technical guidelines, including Technical Guidelines for Environmental and Health Hazard Assessment of Chemical Substances (Trial), Technical Guidelines for Environmental and Health Exposure Assessment of Chemical Substances (Trial) and Technical Guidelines for Environmental and Health Risk Characterization of Chemical Substances (Trial).

This Technical Guidelines stipulates the working procedures, contents of assessment, basic methods and technical requirements for the environmental and health hazard assessment of chemical substances. The contents include:
