On 28 April 2013, The SAWS published 10 documents for the hazardous chemicals safe use permit. The Order 57, “Measures for the Administration of Hazardous Chemicals Safe Use Permit” has entered into force since 1 May 2013. The companies included in the national “Catalogue of applicable industries for Hazardous Chemicals Safe Use Permit” and using HCs (for the purpose of production) with use quantities reaching the minimum annual tonnage specified in the “Use quantities standard for hazardous chemicals”, are obligated to obtain the hazardous chemical safe use permit.
Totally 10 unified documents have been released to support the practical implementation of the Order 57, which include: “Application form of the Hazardous Chemicals Safe Use Permit”, “Review Report of the Hazardous Chemicals Safe Use Permit”, “Application Form of Extension for Hazardous Chemicals Safe Use Permit”, “Application Form of Alteration for Hazardous Chemicals Safe Use Permit”, “Letter of Notice Requesting Supplementary Application Material”, “ Letter of Notice Informing the Receiving of Application”, “Letters of Notice Informing On-site Verification”, “Notice Informing Rejection of Application”, “Notice Informing Disapproval of Issuing the Safe Use Permit” and the “ Template and Illustration of the Hazardous Chemicals Safe Use Permit( Copies)”.
The issuing bodies of the permit will use the above 10 unified document for their practical work and all the documents are available for download on the website.
