China State Council Emphasizes the Supervision, Utilization, and Disposal of Hazardous Waste

On May 25th, 2021, China State Council issued a notice ^[1] to publish the Implementation Plan for Strengthening the Reform of Hazardous Waste Supervision and Utilization and Disposal Capacity (hereinafter referred to as the Implementation Plan). The Implementation Plan was formulated to promote the implementation of the Law of the People’s Republic China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste and to prevent and control the environment and safety risks of hazardous waste.
