On August 6, 2025, South Korea's Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL) published the revised Standards for Classification and Labeling of Chemical Substances and Material Safety Data Sheet by MoEL Public Notice No.2025-50. It took effect on August 7, 2025. The revision targets MSDS requirements for three new types of hazardous substances (previously toxic chemical substances) and substances with unconfirmed hazards (defined in Annex 1-2 to the K-REACH Enforcement Rules).
