Korea Revises MSDS Standards to Improve Accuracy of Hazard Communication

On August 6, 2025, South Korea’s Ministry of Employment and Labor (MoEL) officially released the revised Standards for Classification and Labeling of Chemical Substances and Material Safety Data Sheet (MoEL Public Notice No.2025-50). It took effect on August 7, 2025. The revision this time is based on the latest updates to the Act on Registration, Evaluation, Etc. of Chemical Substances (K-REACH).
