Japan Adds 40 Substances to the Carcinogenic Substances List Under ISHL

A total of 40 new substances have been added to the Carcinogenic Substances List.These substances will become applicable starting April 1, 2028.

The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) of Japan updated the "Carcinogenic Substances List" under the Industrial Safety and Health Act on June 5, 2026. With this update, a total of 40 new substances have been added to the list. The newly added substances will become applicable starting April 1, 2028.
