On October 20, 2011, the Chemicals Registration Center of China’s Ministry of Environmental Protection (CRC-MEP) released its first version of submission software for the China New Chemical Substance Simplified Notification (CNCSSN) in order to facilitate the information processing, guarantee information accuracy and enhance work efficiency of the center.
Before 31st December, 2011, mail submission and software submission both available.
CNCSSN notifiers are allowed to submit application materials both in email format and by the new software platform as of the above date.
Notes:
1) One submission can only be submitted by either email format or software approach.
2) Both methods need to include originals stamped with the company seal and/or legal representative signature. (Software application should use documents printed from the software)
From 1st January 2012, only the software application format will be available.
Next year the CRC-MEP will only accept simplified notification documents and other documentation printed from the software (submitted with original company seal and/or legal representative signature).
Notifiers may consult CRC-MEP for any technical problems during the software submission.
