On Oct 31st, The Ministry of Transport (MOT) released the draft of Regulation of Reporting and Recording of Major Risk Sources concerning Work Safety in Transport for public comment. The regulation applies to the land and waterway transport, in-port storage and urban public transport of high risks substances. MOT will be responsible for guiding and supervising the report and record of major risk sources. The scope of major risk sources is defined by Regulations of Classification of Major Risk Sources concerning Work Safety in Transport.
According to the regulation, enterprises and the managing facilities of major risk sources should record and report the information to authorities at a provincial level. The information that is required to be reported includes basic information, monitor information, control information, emergency information and accidents information. The detailed requirements are listed as follows:

There are two types of report, which are the monthly and yearly report. Monthly reports should be submitted by 5th of the month and yearly reports by Jan 30th. If major changes occur to the information, then relevant authorities should be notified within 3 workdays.
