N,N,N’,N’-tetrakis(2-hydroxypropyl) dipamide has passed the technical review of CFSA under China NHFPC and after successful public consultation will be approved as a new food contact additive used in coating.
On 22 Jul 2016, China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment (CFSA), an authority under NHFPC, started to invite public comments on the following new varieties of food-related products:
1 new food contact additive: N,N,N’,N’-tetrakis(2-hydroxypropyl) dipamide (CAS No. 57843-53-5)
2 existing food contact additives to get enlarged application scopes: 1,8-bis[(4-Methylphenyl)amino]-9,10-anthracenedione (CAS NO. 82-16-6) to be used in PC and Dichlorodimethylsilane reaction products with silica to be used in PVDF (CAS No.68611-44-9)
2 new food contact resins: Formaldehyde polymer with 2-methylphenol used in coating (CAS No.25053-96-7) and Formaldehyde, polymer with 4-(1,1-dimethylethyl)phenol and phenol using in coating (CAS No.28453-20-5)
