China Consults on Eleven New Varieties of FCM Additives and Resins

Food contact material added with additives and resins such as poly (1,4-butylene adipate), ethanol, 2-amino-, etc., should not be used in contact with infant and young children food or breast milk.
On Dec. 14, 2020, China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment ("CFSA") consulted on 11 new varieties of food related products, covering two new FCM additives, six FCM additives with extended application scope, and three new resins. Any comments should be sent to email@example.com before Jan. 7, 2021.
