China SAMR Issued 2019 Food-Related Products National Sampling Results

The results of the 2019 national sampling inspection showed that the food-related products with a 100% qualification rate included: PET bottles, plastic bottles for infant and young children, plastic cup, plastic disposable tableware, aluminum, and aluminum alloy non-stick pan, plastic chopping board and stainless kitchenware.
Products with a high disqualification rate will be subject to more stringent supervision in follow-up inspection, including electric food processing equipment, pressure cookers, and paper cups.
As revealed by a SAMR announcement issued on Jan. 16, 2020, 3110 batches of food-related products from 3097 enterprises were inspected during the recent national sampling, of which the overall qualification rate reached 95.1%.
This national sampling involves 24 kinds of food-related products, including composite film bags, plastic bottles for infant and young children, plastic cup and etc. Here are the inspection details:
