France Releases Implementation Rules for its PFAS Ban in Consumer Products

France has issued Decree No. 2025-1376 setting detailed PFAS redisual concentration limits and exemptions, effective from January 1, 2026.

France's Ministry of Ecological Transition, Biodiversity, and International Climate and Nature Negotiations has issued Decree No. 2025-1376 on December 28, 2025, establishing comprehensive implementation rules for restrictions on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in consumer products.
