Japan Seeks Public Comments on PFHxS-Related Substances as Class I Specified Chemicals

A list of candidate substances was shared in the April 18, 2025 meeting, but the final version is still undecided.

On September 16, 2025, the Government of Japan published the "Draft Cabinet Order to Partially Amend the Order for Enforcement of the Act on the Regulation of Manufacture and Evaluation of Chemical Substances (CSCL)" and opened a public comment period running until October 15, 2025.
