The ban on the use of bisphenol A has been expanded to infant and child devices, containers and their package in Korea.

On Jan.9, 2019, Korea MFDS announced the revision to “Standard and Specification of Containers and Container Packages”, which mainly includes the following items:

The ban on the use of BPA (bisphenol A), DBP (dibutyl phthalate) and BBP (benzyl butyl phthalate)   has been expanded from feeding bottle (including nipple) to infant and young children devices, containers and their package.
