South Korea Makes Changes to Substance Inventories

South Korea’s National Institute of Environmental Research (NIER) announced on 16 May to update the South Korea’s Toxic Chemical Substance List (TCSL) and GHS Classification List. Six substances have been simultaneously added into the two lists. The updated TCSL will enter into force one month after the notice’s publication (NIER Notice No. 2014-11), while the updated GHS Classification List will be effective immediately after the issuance of the NIER Notice No. 2014-12.
