In April of 2024, China imposes licensing control on export of 24 precursor chemicals to Myanmar, Laos, and Afghanistan. South Korea published the updated list of pre-registered substances under K-REACH. Japan introduced 12 substances to PAC List. Vietnam notified the draft chemical law to WTO for comment. India published Quality Control Order for orthophosphoric acid. Australia proposed to add Dechlorane Plus and UV-328 under ICHEMS.

In March of 2024, China issued GB 30000.1 Rules for classification and labeling of chemicals - Part 1: General specifications (Draft for approval) to solicit public comments. South Korea proposed handling limits for 39 new toxic substances designated in early 2024. Japan published English guidance on import clearance procedures for chemicals. Australia announced simplified industrial chemical compliance rules regarding AICIS categorization, reporting and record-keeping requirements. India amended QCO for certain chemicals.
